About the Course

What is AWS Cloud Computing?

Amazon Web Services is the leading cloud platform used by organizations to build, deploy and scale applications without owning physical servers. AWS gives developers on-demand access to compute, storage, networking and security services that traditionally required buying and maintaining hardware. EC2 provides virtual servers to run applications, S3 offers durable object storage for files and backups, Lambda lets you run code without provisioning servers at all, and IAM controls who can access which resources and how. Beyond these core services, AWS covers databases, networking (VPC), monitoring and content delivery, giving teams everything they need to run production systems reliably at any scale. One of the major advantages of learning AWS is that the same skills transfer across almost every industry, since most modern companies run at least part of their infrastructure in the cloud. AWS is widely used for hosting websites, running backend APIs, processing data pipelines, serving machine learning models and building serverless applications. Its flexibility, pay-as-you-go pricing, global infrastructure and strong job market make AWS one of the most valuable skills in tech today.

EC2

Virtual servers to run and scale applications on demand.

S3

Durable, scalable object storage for files, backups and static sites.

Lambda

Run code on demand without provisioning or managing servers.

IAM

Control who can access which AWS resources, and how.

Together, these services let you deploy, store, run and secure production-ready cloud applications.
